D23: To the Victor..? MARVEL releases new DOOMSDAY trailer…

We’ve waited quite a while for information on the next Avengers movie, but in the last few weeks, the marketing department at Marvel Studios has started releasing its big guns. Following on from the Doomsday teasers earlier this year and the first full trailer at SDCC, we get a better look at Robert Downey Jnr.’s Victor Von Doom in the trailer that was shown at the D23 event.

This trailer gives some context to why Doom is so angry and the power-levels at his command. There are glimpses of the Sentinel robots and the heroes beginning to realise the scale of the problem. Susan Richards narrates the trailer and Reed Richards confronts his old friend, setting up a confrontation which will also spill into Avengers: Secret Wars…

There was also a subtle(?) hint from High Jackman that he and Ryan Reynolds might be available to join the already expansive cast?

Avengers: Doomsday is released 18th December…
