Listen up… NETFLIX release THE WHISPER MAN trailer…

In the run-up to the release of The Whisper Man on its platform, Netflix is sharing the promotional art and trailer ahead of 28th August debut…

Based on the best-selling novel by Leeds-born author Alex North, the adaptation has an all-star cast including screen legend Robert De Niro, Adam Scott (Severance), Michelle Monaghan (The White Lotus, Mission Impossible), Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass), Acston Luca Porto (The Revenge of La Llorona) and another key name…Michael Keaton (Batman, Birdman and many more).

The screen adaptation moves the story from the English town of Featherbank to the US, but the plot remains intact. Widower Tom Kennedy moves to small town with his young son Jake in an effort to begin a new chapter in their lives. However, the picturesque location has one blot on its otherwise wholesome appearance. Years ago, a serial killer snatched away several children – all of whom had complained about hearing whispers outside their bedroom windows in the days before.

But now Jake is hearing similar voices and when he goes missing, Tom will use every resource he can to discover the truth and get his son back unharmed. But the original killer was eventually uncovered and sentenced to the rest of their life in jail… so who or what is responsible now?

The film is directed by James Ashcroft (The Rule of Jenny Pen) from a script by Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer.
