STRANGE NEW WORLDS…TREK goes Fourth, Boldly (trailer)…
Though Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has now finished filming on its fifth and final season of voyages, we’re only just getting a preview of the fourth season, now confirmed for Paramount+‘s July schedule. The 10-episode run for Season Four starts on 23rd July and is set to be released weekly until 24th September.
The fourth season actually shot at the CBS Stages Canada facility in Mississauga, Ontario, from March to August 2025. All main cast returned for duty: Anson Mount as Captain Pike, Ethan Peck as Spock, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, Jess Bush as Christine Chappel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Erica Ortegas, Babs Olusanmokun as Doctor M’Benga and Martin Quinn as Montgomery Scott.
Strange New Worlds will finish with a six-episode run next year and which, we believe, it will form the specific connective tissue to align with Kirk taking command of the legendary starship in The Original Series. There are still hopes that a new series will chronicle some of the ‘Missing Voyages’ that took place during TOS, though the SNW sets were recently dismantled, just as Trek celebrated its 60th anniversary.
